In this course, you can learn how to make soba noodles from a master soba maker at Shintomi no Sato, a popular soba restaurant in Shintomi Town. The soba you make yourself will be boiled on the spot and served for lunch.
In the afternoon, take a walk through the Saitobaru Ancient Tombs, one of the largest in Japan. Enjoy a day of seasonal flowers and historical romance.

Direct instruction by a master soba maker from the popular "Soba Restaurant Shintomi no Sato," which attracts a long line of customers!
You can try your hand at making flavorful soba noodles using 100% Shintomi-machi buckwheat flour. The masters will carefully teach you their unique techniques developed through years of experience, so even beginners can feel at ease.
For lunch, you can have your own buckwheat noodle made and cooked on the spot, and enjoy it freshly made for lunch! We hope you will enjoy this exceptional bowl of soba. -

The Saitobaru Tumulus Group is one of the largest tumulus groups in Japan, with more than 300 tombs spread out, and is a spot full of historical romance, recognized as a Japanese Heritage Site. Visitors can enjoy walking and recreation in the park, which is decorated with seasonal flowers.
