Tour Course Introduction

Course overlooking seaside area (2 hours)

First, we will visit Kaihin Tower, the tallest tower in Japan.
The observation deck on the top floor, which is approximately 70 seconds by elevator and 123 meters high, offers a panoramic view of Fukuoka City.
And at the "Sadaharu Oh" Museum, a national hero, visitors can experience the fascination of baseball through valuable exhibits and videos.
Finally, please visit the seaside area and take your time to enjoy the white sandy beaches and refresh your mind and body.

Highlights of this course

  • (1)Fukuoka Tower

    It was built as a monument for the Asia-Pacific Exposition (Yokatopia) held in 1989 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Fukuoka City.
    It is the tallest seaside tower in Japan at 234 meters in length, and is nicknamed "Mirror Sail" for its sophisticated equilateral triangular exterior covered with 8,000 half-mirrors.
    The view from the observation deck on the top floor, 123 meters above ground, is exceptional, offering a 360-degree panoramic view of Fukuoka City and the waterfront.
  • (2)Sadaharu Oh Museum

    It is the first facility in Japan dedicated to the baseball man Sadaharu Oh.
    Visitors can experience the historical background and illustrious record of Sadaharu Oh, a national hero who enthused people, as well as the drama of his tireless efforts behind the scenes, through the valuable exhibits and video materials.
    In addition, children can experience and feel professional baseball at the "89 Studio," a corner that embodies Sadaharu Oh's "wishes for children.

  • (3)Seaside Momochi

    It is a seaside area in the western part of the city center where the symbols of Fukuoka, such as Fukuoka Tower and Fukuoka City Museum, are concentrated.
    It is also popular as a refreshment area, and with entertainment facilities and attractions featuring the best of technology, there is something for everyone to enjoy, whether with parents, children, or couples!
