laid the foundation for the city of Fukuoka.<br>The ruins of the Kuroda Clan's castle still remain today, and although there is no castle tower, you are invited to explore the magnificent castle walls.<br>Next, we will visit Koun Shrine, where Kanbei and Nagamasa are enshrined as gods.<br>Finally, we will visit Tochoji Temple, which was founded by Kukai and was later patronized by the Kuroda 1601.<br>\nNow designated as a national historic site as the ruins of Fukuoka Castle, it is a quiet green space with stone walls and trees.<br>\nIn its former days, there were large, medium, and small castle towers and 47 yagura, and the moat is home to the Tsukushiogayatsuri, a natural treasure designated by the prefecture and found only here in Japan.<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/li><li>\n\t<div class=\"midokoro\">\n\t<h3 class=\"midokoro_title\">(2) Koun Shrine<\/h3><div class=\"midokoro_img\"><div class=\"thumb-43\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tabicon-kyushu.com\/contents\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/kuroda_02.jpg\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tabicon-kyushu.com\/contents\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/kuroda_02-600x450.jpg\"><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload\"><\/a><\/div><\/div>\t\t<div class=\"midokoro_desc\">This shrine is dedicated to Kuroda Josui (Ryuko-in-den), the founder of the Fukuoka domain, and Kuroda Nagamasa (Kounin-den), the first lord of the domain.<br>\nOriginally located in the Honmaru area of Fukuoka Castle, the shrine was moved outside the castle after the Meiji Restoration, and later relocated to its current location.<br>\nThe cherry blossoms in West Park are very beautiful during the cherry blossom season, and you can see the first sunrise of the year on New Year's class=\"lazyload\"><\/a><\/div><\/div>\t\t<div class=\"midokoro_desc\">It was founded in 1594 by the fourth head monk of Tochikuin, Sesshiniwa Shunzeki, in what is now Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture.<br>\nApproximately 400 years after its foundation, the current temple was completed in 1989 as a \"400th Anniversary Commemorative Project\" at the behest of the 33rd head monk of Tocho, Kazuo Jitake.<br>\nEnjoy the style of the temple, which combines the rationality of modern architecture with the serenity of historical temple
